Lavender Bathroom

Sharing is caring!

There’s something soothing and relaxing about having a lavender bathroom.

My husband’s parents own a beautiful property in Newport, Maine that they filled with thousands of gorgeous lavender plants. My sweet mother-in-law found it so beautiful that she wanted to share the beauty and open their property up for people to come look at the lavender. She dries the lavender and makes a ton of products with it and sells them in her sweet little cottage.

They run a sweet, dreamy little business called Moore Manor Lavender right from their home and because I am fortunate enough to have married into their family, I often get to take home some gorgeous dried lavender. Eventually, I had enough to decorate our kitchen with lavender. I loved it and loved having the subtle pops of purple in our white kitchen.

However, my husband has hinted quite a bit in the past that he would love to have a spa-like bathroom. Since we currently only have one small bathroom in our house, having a spa-like bathroom isn’t quite achievable. I wanted to at least make an effort!

Lavender is very soothing and relaxing, and it was my hope to get a touch of the spa-like feel in the bathroom, so I moved all the lavender in there. Most of the products are from his parent’s farm so it’s very special to us.
